Good to know

A few clear answers.

What you can expect from SearchBoard today.

Ask us a question
How do I get access?
SearchBoard is in private beta. Access is reviewed and granted individually. Email [email protected] with a short description of the sites you manage. There is no public registration.
Do I need to share my Google password?
No. Google OAuth opens Google's own authorisation screen. SearchBoard receives account identity, email and the read-only Search Console permissions you grant. Signing in to SearchBoard uses a separate password and Authenticator.
Are Google and Bing reports identical?
Each service provides different data. Google includes country and device breakdowns and URL Inspection. Bing reports include the queries and pages its API supplies; its average position is calculated from available query data. Report completeness and date coverage depend on each provider.
Does SearchBoard store my search data?
Yes. Reports are stored in the installation's database for history, filtering and comparisons. Updates can continue in the background. Connection credentials are encrypted. See the Privacy Policy for retention, backups and deletion.
Who can see a connected account's reports?
Invited administrators of the same installation share connections, sites, statistics, tags and marks. Each administrator has separate sign-in credentials and Authenticator settings. Only connect data you are authorised to share with this workspace.
Can I disconnect an account?
Yes. You can disconnect Google in the workspace or revoke its permission in your Google Account settings. Revoking permission stops API access; deleting previously stored statistics is a separate action. The Privacy Policy explains both.
